how can i shot low light moods

how can i shot dark mood and low key moods with d8 trv 740 without being so bad and grainy any tips helping

Your camera should have exposure pre-sets. Like changing it from indoor, to sport, to whatever. You'll see a little icon for each.

You know what I'm talking about? A little pic with a palm tree or of mountains etc changing the exposure slightly.

Anyway, switch it to the night one. It'll look like a little moon. Everything will seem way dark but at least no grain! You'll have to light up the set a ton. It might not look natural in person but on video it looks great! Use TONS of light!

I've never seen a night scene done with no light.

try lighting the scene with one light.
